When it comes to network security, there is no wiggling room. As part of the business continuity plan, secure information systems will allow the business to keep running after a disaster. There may be a time when the secure networks are penetrated buy cyber criminals that cause damage. A secure firewall is not fool proof to everyone. Hackers try and try some more to get through the secure domains, and they don’t let up until they are through the business’ network support systems. Firewalls are only the first step in secure networks. Employees that can access the network may be tempted to break the rules and sabotage the network. Disgruntled employees have the capabilities of entering the secure systems, but you may be able to limit the access to certain areas.
