The business environment is ever-changing, constantly creating new procedures and protocols. Most businesses would like to install a security camera system into their network if the possibility were there. With new technology that takes the wires out of networking, wireless security is as much of a concern as backup software systems. Information security is at the forefront of business continuity plans. A camera system can be placed on the exterior and interior of the facilities, but inside the wireless system is not yet an option. There are systems to take a peek inside of the software and make a vulnerability assessment. Areas of the system are examined for holes that can be fixed for a more secure network.
Another area that has been getting a lot of attention lately is email security. Spam blocking systems monitor what is coming in and out of the system. Viruses have a history of being passed through email boxes and address books, leading the way for added security software. The emails are scrutinized like luggage moving through a security camera. Without sacrificing the security of the contents, the software is able to detect if there are any attachments that are prohibited in the system. This is just the beginning in a long road of disaster recovery measures. Continuity relies on security to keep business running as usual to maintain business and money flow.
